Episode 3 of Let’s Get Cooking At Your House with Melanie Cornacchia, RHN and Lorene Sauro, RHN.

The global skincare market is 134 billion. Masking and covering the skin has not resolved skin issues. And it’s because the fix is inside of the body, not on the outside. And food counts.

In this episode, we’ll discuss many nutrients, including special phytonutrients that help protect the skin and improve skin conditions such as acne, rosacea, eczema and psoriasis. We’ll chat about what foods are the best sources of the nutrients and how to combine them into recipes, making it easier to get the benefits.  Since it’s summer, we’re featuring recipes that don’t need the stove.

About Melanie:

Melanie Cornacchia is a Registered Holistic Nutritionist (RHN) and founder of Wellness, Nutrition and Nature.  She studied holistic health and wellness just because she was curious to learn more. She focuses on digestive health and skin issues with adults after experiencing her own challenges in these areas. Melanie’s fatigue and bowel issues were frustrating and she was ‘relieved’ to resolve them. After correcting her digestion and changing how she ate, Melanie noticed her skin improved. In researching all the new foods she ate, she learned how food and other simple strategies can make a difference.

Melanie encourages and inspires, with tools and resources, to help move people towards their wellness goals. With determination and patience, small actions can produce desired outcomes. After graduating from the Canadian School of Natural Nutrition, she started her online practice in Delta, BC. Melanie helps clients nourish their body inside and out, creating radiant skin and a healthy body.
