Using The Program:
Start with the Health and Food Safety module as this will give you an overview of all the key information before you start learning how to ferment. The business information is also at the beginning but that is optional as you can wait until the end to do this section.
Once you have completed the Health and Food Safety module, pick the type of fermented food you would like to learn to do first and start there. Work your way through the videos to complete the program.
Doing the Quizzes
There is a quiz for each section except the 28 Day Menu plan and Helpful Cooking Techniques. They are optional but are required if you would like CEU credits or you wish to receive a certificate for the program.
For the fermented foods, each quiz asks questions about preparing the fermented food, its history and health benefits and tips for making it. The quiz will not have questions for the recipes or the one-day menu plan.
In order to order to get the certificate or credit for CEUs, you do not have to make all the fermented foods, just listen to the videos about history and health benefits, the tips and making the fermented food in order to answer the quiz questions.
A pass is 80%
If you need CEU credits, you can obtain them per section if you have not completed the program and a confirmation letter can be provided. For this, you need to request it by telling me what sections have been completed at which time I will verify you have successfully completed the quiz and send you the letter. The hour count is listed in each section.
And Finally…
Enjoy the program!
